A scientist was desperatily in need of a discovery to present at the annual science conference.
So, one day he picked up a cockroach and broke one of his one of his legs and asked the cockroach to walk, which the obedient insect did.
The next day, the scientist broke the second leg of the cockroach after which he yelled at the cockraoch to walk and he obeyed.
On the third day the scientist twisted his specimen's third leg, commanded it to walk and the insect managed to crawl.
But on the fourth day, the cockroach did not walk when the scientist broke his last leg and shouted him to walk.
Surprized the scientist quickly grabbed his file and jottad down the conclusion, "If we break all the four legs of a cockroach, he becomes deaf"
